“Therapy, Poetry” is an intimate short poetic film with words spoken and created by Hilary Zakria, a slam poet from western Sydney, Australia. It is a film that explores intimate and surreal scenes in his Hilary's life whilst contemplating the next step in taking control.

“Instead of showing actual therapy taking place - I wanted to explore the often overlooked moments that lead up to that. I am fascinated by the little moments that lead to big decisions.
This poem encapsulates what it’s like to face the inner demons inside all of us. In a series of vignettes and surreal scenes in his life we see Hilary contemplate the next step to take action and take control. The film takes a raw look at the moments before clarity.”
