“Antiphon” by Sasha Malina

Lonely Jaсob embodies an intense internal struggle with guilt, fear, and anxiety, inspired by a biblical scene where he wrestles with a mysterious, intangible force — a universal inner feeling that everyone encounters at times. Isolated from his surroundings, the dancer engages in a symbolic battle with an unseen power representing his past actions and their consequences.

As the dance progresses, the movements reflect the internal suffering associated with acknowledging one's shadow self. The powerful choreography conveys an emotional journey from denial to acceptance, culminating in a moment of self-realization and peace.
