“Where to Find?” By Danilo Pontes & Leo Trinti
At a crucial moment in life, a girl questions herself about what she knows, about 'the absolute truths', what she understands about herself and her spirituality.
The project was a collaboration with Christian vision - a worldwide Christian organization whose mission is to work and dialogue with young people directly on the internet, presenting the content of hope, reflection, and a new perspective.
The challenge was to create a short film on the theme "where we find God". Inside it, we brought internal reflections of every human being, their existence, and absolute truths that society imposes.
When we received the briefing, we concluded that the narrative would have to be more abstract and go to a surreal approach and asked ourselves: "how can we express the character's deepest feelings in images?"
Everything was filmed in one day and we used practical solutions to create a surreal universe and movements.
