C41, in collaboration with Flos, presents the portrait of the world-renowned designer Vincent Van Duysen. A catalyst for talent and beauty, we uncover the man behind the designer through the city closest to his heart: Antwerp.
The city of Antwerp plays the role of second protagonist in the documentary by emerging as a culturally dynamic and multifaceted creative hub, combining Northern European minimalism with its strong architectural heritage. Guiding us through his favourite places, Van Duysen talks about his relationship with Flos as designer and how the city inspires his creative process.
We gradually get to know him through his network of talented personalities with impeccable taste, people who form part of his daily life - florists, chefs and fellow designers - equipped with a unique perspective of his inner workings.
