“Blush- Hide and Seek” by Crispin Tan

When Husband and Wife unexpectedly reunite in the afterlife, they must learn how to navigate their new eternity together.

FROM THE DIRECTOR

“For my interpretation of Blush's Hide and Seek, its tender melancholy spoke to me. At the time of writing the treatment for the music video, I was mourning the passing of my grandparents. Using grief as my inspiration, I shaped the song's romantic solemness into a narrative of a Husband and Wife's reunion in the afterlife. I liked to think of the story as a crossover between Wong Kar-Wai's In The Mood For Love and Hirokazu Kore-eda's After Life. Ultimately, the music video was an expression of my hope for the great beyond: to know that we won't always be alone.”
