Beyond the Short
During a collaborative project, Sevda and me found each other personally and creatively. When the world came to a halt during the Corona pandemic, we grew closer, writing and talking intensely. Together we wrote, produced and directed our first project “Habibi”, which launched our collaborative directing partnership - sevda+ana.
Both of us have a diverse and global outlook on life - having lived, worked and traveled in many countries, we like to combine influences from many cultures and understanding of the people. We share similar values, a poetic outlook on life & creative desires, which makes this collaboration effortless.
