'Ecstasy Homosexuality' by The Irrepressibles is an unapologetic celebration of gay relationships, framed by poignant reminders that much of what it depicts would have been illegal just a generation ago.
A succession of evocative still images and artworks from renowned queer artists is used to depict actual sexual encounters and genuine intimacy. This and the compelling visual narrative of the film delivers a bold and essential statement, particularly in a time when conservative forces within the political sphere are challenging these hard-won freedoms.
