“Ghost Train” by Rhys Aaron Lewis

While traveling on a busy London Underground train to Brixton, a young woman bumps into a man she used to date and has been avoiding for weeks.

FROM THE DIRECTOR

“Ghost Train is a romantic comedy short that pays homage to many of my favourite films of the 80s and 90s, such as When Harry Met Sally and Before Sunrise. However, with this film I wanted to take a more realistic (or cynical!) look at dating today and the difficulties people face finding a connection with someone.

Talking to friends and the cast before making the film it seemed that a lot of people could relate to the story. It was a lot of fun working with the actors before the shoot as I asked them to draw on some of their own personal dating experiences as we crafted the characters and the narrative.”
