John, a twenty-something with Asperger's Syndrome, will do anything it takes to be a voice actor. A huge gig on a tight deadline pops up that can take him to the next level, but he's suddenly plagued with technical issues. John's roommate is tripping psychedelic mushrooms and constantly gets in the way. When it all starts to fall apart, John has to risk all his money and his entire reputation on a single line of dialogue.

“Talk Back” is a short film about never giving up on your dreams. It follows John, a socially awkward twenty-something, who will do anything it takes to be a voice actor. When the biggest opportunity of his life falls in his lap, a series of mishaps may ruin his shot, but they won't crush his spirit. This short is a labor of love that only exists because of the vulnerability of its cast and crew.”
