“The Quiet” By Mateo Márquez

“The Quiet” is a cautionary tale about sacrifices and the secrets one keeps. On a surprise visit home to spend time with his mother, a young man finds himself in the midst of a deadly outbreak.

“The Quiet was created as a way to examine the harmful consequences of silence within family. Shot in early 2019 it is eerie to see how the world, to a degree, mimicked the world created in the film. I am hopeful however, that the audience will find something deeper written between the lines of this tragic tale”
