“The Swedish Speaking Migrants of Paris” by Emilio Di Stefano

2015 was the year of the greatest refugee crisis since the Second World War. Around 160, 000 people came to Sweden. Many of them were young men, fleeing Syria, Afghanistan, and several countries in Africa. They started a new life in Sweden, learned the language, and got friends and families. But many of them didn't get a residence permit in the end and they were forced to move on and seek a future in France. Today, around 5000 migrants in France formerly lived in Sweden.

In this movie, we meet some of the migrants who left Sweden. They are in different stages of life, one lives under a bridge, and the other one made the French national team in cricket.
