“Going Back To Move Forward” by Filippo Ciccone

In a small countryside village, lives a young artisan named Mirco who passionately and determinedly pursues a dying craft. Determined to keep the tradition alive, Mirco spends his days in his workshop, creating unique works of art with his skilled hands.

Through his determination and timeless talent, Mirco proves that traditions can survive even in the modern era, if only there’s someone willing to defend them with all their heart.

FROM THE DIRECTOR

“This short brought me back to my roots because before I became a filmmaker/Dop I was a tailor the craftsman and I know how much sacrifice you have to put into making a certain product.

In this short I wanted to highlight the handmade crafts and how important it is for me to value them, it's like a task for me.”

-Filippo Ciccone
