Beyond the Short

The creative process behind this film was somehow special in the beginning. I read myself through various articles about the special mindset of the FC Bayern and its history in soccer. This mentality was our anchor for the interviews and the emotional trigger for the fans to watch, because they are part of the club and are deeply involved in its success. It’s not easy to tell a story of a soccer club, with so many enthusiastic fans, but at the end everybody was satisfied with the result.

The biggest difficulty for the production was the COVID-19 restrictions here in Germany. A certain distance between the protagonists and the team, but within the team itself, was mandatory and our greatest worries for certain situations. With smart solutions, monitoring across different nearby locations and a short communication between us, the agency and the customer this whole film became possible. There were many doubts about the productions, but those extra meetings helped a lot to make this possible during the lock down in Germany.
