Synopsis
RISING is a tribute to the relentless resilience of the human spirit. During this global pandemic we have collaborated with an international array of 14 cinematographers to create this inspiring message of hope. In a time when the issues of the world would have us divided, this film demonstrates what can be achieved when we work together. RISING shows the beauty of the world that surrounds us and the power of unity and human connection.

Beyond the Short
Dublin-based creative agency The Tenth Man and directors GRIZZLY have collaborated to release RISING, an ambitious short film that celebrates the incredible potential within us when we embrace the power of unity.
The recently launched 5 minute film is a stunning visual statement that brings together the work of a group of established and emerging cinematographers from across five continents. Narrated by Irish rising star Denise Chaila, the film is testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit, an ode to what can be achieved when we place value on what we share, not what divides us.
With an intense emotional energy, the film is a global portrait of intimate human moments of love, passion, connection and solitude set against a backdrop of jaw dropping landscapes. With contributions from cinematographers in Thailand, Iran, USA, Uganda, India, Russia, Germany, Ireland and more, it’s a stunning meditation on the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity. Featuring lunar sand-scapes, inner cities, haunting wildernesses, underwater forests, deserted piers and desert dunes, the film also serves as a tribute to the beauty and fragility of our natural and man made worlds, as well as the relentless resilience of the human spirit.
