“ĠENN - The Sister Of” by Kyrylo Volovych
A blend of realism and mysterious surrealism, and elements of sci-fi, is a binding thread for the vision of this project. In the world of the “The Sister Of” - time is an independent reality existing without humans to perceive it. The main character, young lady, in her 20’s, saunters towards a lone, baroque palace located by the lake. As she reaches closer to it’s walls, she begins to notice shapes of people, mysteriously standing still.
Resembling figures that are frozen in time, she walks past them. We see close ups of different faces, acts and emotions - lives that’s been encapsulated forever.
Being what seems like the only breathing human being in a world of mannequins, she moves through different scenarios and characters, feeling an emotionally dull setting in the air.
What follows after is the series of mysterious occurrences that leads up to something that a young lady was never prepared to witness.
