“For the Seattle Film Festival's golden anniversary, we wanted to distill the pure, unthrottled joy that movies give us.
We embraced meticulous compositions, not for the sake of sophistication, but for the sake of fun. We indulged in silliness, vibrant scenes, and the sheer delight of creation. It was nonsensical, it was joyful, and it was all in service to one core truth: we love the movies.
This video isn't an intellectual exercise. It's a celebration of cinematic history taken to a surreal extreme. Our characters literally consumed famous movie scenes, feasting on slimy goo and becoming delightfully inebriated by the experience. It's an explosion of everything that brought us to filmmaking in the first place – the boundless energy and possibility that cinema holds. We hope it makes you smile, and reminds you why the Seattle Film Festival has been such a vital part of our community for five amazing decades.”
