“Most of the Time We Are Just Waiting” by Molly Shears
It's a hot summer day and Nora's hometown is being evacuated due to an unnamed environmental crisis. While Nora tries to come to terms with the ever-changing world around her, her older sister Taylor struggles to face reality. When Taylor sneaks out to party with her crush, Nora wanders through the neighbourhood, searching for both her sister and a sense of clarity in a world that seems to be diminishing in meaning.
